MG Motor UK have announced its new all-electric MG4 has achieved the maximum five-star NCAP rating.
The MG4 has been through a rigorous testing process- The tests for child and adult occupant safety, vulnerable road user protection and vehicle safety assist functions- Euro NCAP awarded five stars to all current MG4 specifications, including SE, Trophy, Standard and Long-Range models.
All MG4's are equipped with MG Pilot, this is a host of vehicle safety features to add an extra layer of protection whilst on the road. Driving aids include Active Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and Driver Attention Alert are included as standard across the range. Intelligent High Beam Assist and Speed Limit Assist are also included as part of a simple, intuitive package of safety features that protects occupants and other road users.
The Euro NCAP rating also marks the first test results involving the MG's Modular Scalable Platform (MSP). This is an adaptable vehicle architecture designed to underpin the next generation of MG cars.
