Nissan Unveils All-New Electric JUKE at Global Vision Event
Nissan has officially revealed the all-new, fully electric JUKE at its global Vision event in Japan, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s ongoing electrification journey.
As demand for electric vehicles continues to accelerate across Europe, Nissan is reinforcing its commitment to innovation, building on more than 15 years of EV expertise to deliver a broader range of electrified options for customers.
A Bold Icon Reimagined for the Electric Era
First introduced in 2010, the JUKE quickly became one of Europe’s most recognisable compact crossovers, with over 1.5 million units sold. Known for its bold design and unconventional styling, the next-generation model stays true to its roots while embracing a fully electric future.
The all-new electric JUKE combines its signature personality with zero-emission performance, bringing a fresh energy to one of Nissan’s most distinctive nameplates.
Expanding Nissan’s Electrified Line-Up
The new JUKE forms part of Nissan’s rapidly growing electrified range in Europe, joining models such as the Nissan LEAF, Nissan Ariya, and Nissan Townstar.
It will also feature advanced Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology, allowing drivers to connect their vehicle to the wider energy network—supporting smarter and more sustainable energy use.
Alongside its EV expansion, Nissan continues to offer innovative hybrid solutions like e-POWER, delivering an electric driving experience without the need to plug in. Models such as the Nissan Qashqai e-POWER and Nissan JUKE Hybrid remain key options for customers seeking flexibility today.
Built in the UK
In a major boost for British manufacturing, the all-new electric JUKE will be produced at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, reinforcing its role as a key hub for EV production in Europe.
The facility—already home to the LEAF—will begin initial production trials in the coming weeks, further strengthening Nissan’s investment in UK-based manufacturing and innovation.
Leadership Commentary
Massimiliano Messina, Chairman of Nissan AMIEO, commented:
“Europe is central to our electrification strategy, and we remain firmly committed to a fully electric future. With an expanding EV line-up, we are bringing greater choice and innovation to every segment.”
Clíodhna Lyons, Vice President for Product, Brand & Marketing Strategy, added:
“JUKE has always stood for bold design and a willingness to challenge convention. With this third generation, we are bringing that spirit into the electric age.”
Launch Timeline
The all-new electric JUKE made its global debut at Nissan’s Vision Event in Japan and is scheduled to launch in Europe in Spring 2027.
