We are incredibly proud to share some fantastic news from the Subaru UK Conference held in Manchester on the 21st of January.
Our very own senior technician Harry Piggott has been crowned Subaru UK "Technician of the Year", a prestigious national award recognising the very best technical talent across the Subaru dealer network.
A National Achievement
Winning Subaru Technician of the Year is no small feat. The award is based on a combination of technical assessments, real-world diagnostics, ongoing manufacturer training and an unwavering commitment to Subaru’s exacting standards.
Harry’s success places him among the very best Subaru technicians in the UK and is a testament to his dedication, expertise and attention to detail. It also reflects the high standards we uphold every day in our workshop.
Harry’s Journey With Crayford & Abbs Is A Truly Inspiring One.
Harry joined Crayford & Abbs at just 14 years old on work experience from Cromer High School. Living with dyslexia school life presented challenges for Harry, but he always had a clear ambition: to become a mechanic.
From day one in the workshop, it was evident he had found his natural environment.
Upon completing his placement at 16, we were keen to employ Harry full-time and we soon enrolled him on a three-year Nissan manufacturer apprenticeship. He then went on to further develop his skills through MG training and
most recently last year, when Crayford & Abbs expanded by opening the Subaru dealership in North Walsham Harry moved with us.
Bringing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the industry as he did so becoming a fully qualified Subaru specialist and contiuing to go from strength to strength.
Harry’s dedication, resilience and passion for his craft embodies everything we stand for as a business. His achievement is richly deserved, and he serves as a genuine inspiration to young people entering the motor industry.
